Ingredients

Directions

1. In one bowl stir together rolled oats, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
2. In a separate bowl mix honey, canola oil and vanilla.
3. Dump honey mixture over granola mixture, thoroughly combine by hand. Ensure that everything is evenly coated by honey.
4. Heat oven to 300 °F (150 °C).
5. Spread mixture in a thin, even layer on a baking sheet and place on center rack.
6. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
7. Cool completely, stirring occasionally to prevent clumping or group together for clusters. Stir any extras such as dried fruit, nuts, seeds, toasted coconut, etc. at this point.
8. Store in an airtight container. Goes stale fast!
