Pre-heat oven to 375 °F (190 °C). |

Spray cake pan with non-stick spray and add margarine. Put in preheating oven until margarine melt. |

Remove from oven and sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the bottom. |

Cut thin slices of pear and arrange at bottom of cake pan. |

Mix remainder of ingredients starting with dry and adding wet last. |

Mix until combined and pour on top of pears in cake pan. |

Bake 35-40 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean. |

Let cake cool in pan 10 minutes, then invert onto cake plate. |
